Quality management
The plant operates an ISO 9001 quality management system and an ISO 14001 environmental management system. Certificates are available with the audit pack. Every production batch is tested in-house for adhesion to steel and to backing, tensile strength, elongation at break and dielectric breakdown where applicable, and the batch record is retained against the shipping reference.
Third-party testing is carried out by SGS or Intertek on request, either on a batch or on a type-test basis. Test reports state the method, the sample thickness and the measured result so you can compare them directly against another supplier’s figures rather than against a marketing number.
Substance compliance
- RoHS — declarations issued for all tape families.
- REACH — SVHC screening declarations issued for all tape families.
- Low lead and cadmium — our PVC electrical grades are formulated with low lead and cadmium content.
- California Proposition 65 — batch statements issued on request. This is a factual supply statement, not legal advice; confirm your own labelling obligation with your compliance advisor.
- Food contact — a limited number of grades can be produced with food-contact-compliant adhesives. This is a made-to-order item, not a stock product. Ask before you assume.
Market certification
The table below sets out what each market requires and how far we have got. We deliberately show pending items rather than presenting every market as ready, because an incomplete registration discovered at the port is far more expensive than one discovered in a quotation.

How to read a “listing”
A UL or CSA listing belongs to a specific file, a defined product range and a named manufacturing plant. It is not a property of a product category. So the honest answer to “is your electrical tape UL listed?” is: we produce grades built to UL 510 and CSA C22.2 No.197 requirements, and we confirm the currently listed file and scope in writing before you design one into a certified assembly. Anything vaguer than that is a claim, not information.
