Four backings, four different failures
Packaging tape is bought on price and judged on failure rate. The trick is knowing which failure you are buying protection against, because the four common backings fail in completely different ways.

The single most common complaint we receive is an acrylic tape lifting off a recycled carton. That is not a defective roll; it is the wrong adhesive for a low-energy, dusty surface. Switching to hot-melt solves it, and the price difference is cents per roll.
Print and private label
We print up to three colours on BOPP at 45 µm, plus your core and carton. Send vector artwork and we will confirm plate costs and lead time with your quotation. For brands replacing plastic in the packaging line, the water-activated kraft option is fully paper-based and recycles in a single stream — the trade-off is that it needs a water dispenser, which we can supply.
Noise matters more than buyers expect: a loud unwind slows a manual packing bench and raises the jam rate on automatic sealers. If throughput is your constraint, ask about the low-noise grade.

Sizing
48 mm is the de facto standard for carton sealing and 72 mm suits heavy white goods. Length is a throughput question rather than a strength one — a 100 m roll simply means fewer changes per shift. Tell us your carton size and daily volume and we will suggest a length that keeps the operators sealing instead of reloading.

Which tape should I choose for recycled cartons?
Recycled board is dusty and has a lower surface energy, so a hot-melt adhesive outperforms standard acrylic. Choose WR-PK-03 or WR-PK-04. If the cartons also travel through a cold chain, hot-melt is the only reliable option.
Can you print our logo on the tape?
Yes — up to three colours, on BOPP, at 45 µm. We also print the core and the carton, and can apply your own barcode and product code. Send vector artwork and we will confirm plate costs and lead time with your quote.
What is the difference between acrylic and hot-melt adhesive?
Acrylic resists UV and ageing better and is quieter to unwind, which suits e-commerce and long storage. Hot-melt gives higher initial tack and holds on recycled or dusty board and in cold conditions, but yellows and loses tack under prolonged sunlight.
Is there a plastic-free option?
Yes — WR-PK-08 is a water-activated kraft paper tape with a starch adhesive. It is fully paper-based and works perfectly with single-material recycling streams. It needs a water dispenser, which we can supply.
